We did some creating with the Build a Blossom stamp set and co-ordinating punch at Stamp Club in February. So many of the ladies had mentioned that they were scared to use the punch and thought it would waste a lot of paper, but after showing them a few quick and easy tricks they were stamping and punching to their little hearts content! (and not wasting any paper either!)
For this card we did the Rock n’ Roll technique with Blushing Bride and Bravo Burgundy inks. I’ve got a post ready for tomorrow with the directions for this technique if you’re not familiar with it.
We also used the Clearly for You stamp set to do some stamping on the First Edition DSP for our background. Stamping on DSP isn’t something I’ve done much in the past, but seeing how this looks I think I’ll be doing more of this in the future! Oh, and we can’t forget the Vintage Tuilips embossing folder & Victoria Crochet Trim…to die for!
Ok, so I couldn’t give them this super lush and super thick card with curled flower petals and not give them a means to package it…
So we made this matching envelope to accommodate this card’s increased thickness and size. I designed the template to use one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock with just a few score lines and minimal trimming with your scissors. It’s a super beautiful way to package a gift!
Fits perfectly! 🙂
Happy Stampin’
Allison
