Stampin’ Up! recently announced that they are looking for demonstrators to stamp projects to display at upcoming events. I always love pouring over the samples at Convention and Leadership, so I thought, hey let’s give this a try! Today’s post is my audition – please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me friends!
This scrapbook page is one I created just a few weekends ago to showcase some of the wonderful trips my husband and I have taken together. I LOVE the doodles in the Sweetie Pie Frames stamp set and I think they make an awesome border.
Stamps: Sweetie Pie Frames, Dictionary, Hello Lovely, Starburst Sayings, Yippee-Skippee, Hip Notes, Chalk Talk, Tape It
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Island Indigo, Whisper White
Big Shot: Word Bubbles Framelits, Starburst Framelits
This card is one that combines so many of my favourite things. I love the natural feel of the Burlap Ribbon paired with the geometrical vibe of the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die. The From My Heart and Dictionary stamp sets push it towards a vintage feel, and then add in some trinkets, pearls, and flowers and this card has all my faves.
Stamps: From My Heart, Dictionary, Lovely Little Labels
Ink: Soft Suede
Paper: Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette
Punches: Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Little Labels Punch Pack
Big Shot: Hexagon Hive Thinlits, Circles Framelits, Perfect Pennants Die
Don’t you just love a good rainbow colour scheme?! The faux washi tape really stands out in it’s bright and beautiful glory on top of the black and white background created with the Off the Grid stamp set. Sometimes all you need is ink, stamps, and some paper to make a really fabulous card.
Stamps: Tape It, Off the Grid, Yippee Skipee
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana, Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Do you recognize these stamps? They’re from the Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit! I adore the ink splatter. And they’re embossed in gold! Eek, so awesome! So it’s Paper Pumpkin meets the Epic Day This and That Stickers and DSP for this card.
Stamps: Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold Cardstock, Epic Day This and That DSP
Punches: Petite Curly Label, Cupcake Builder
Big Shot: Hexagon Embossing Folder
Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Epic Day This and That Stickers, Simply Pressed Clay, Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds
I created this fun little 3D mini scrapbook a little while ago to showcase and document some of my favourite coffee mugs from my rather expansive collection. I had a great time using both my traditional paper crafting supplies and My Digital Studio to create this little hybrid cutie. Scrapbooking isn’t just for baby and wedding photos! If you have a collection of something, scrap it! If you’d like to see some close ups of the inside pages of my book you can take a peek at the original blog post HERE.
My Digital Studio Supplies:
Stamp brush sets: Perfect Blend
Traditional Papercrafting Supplies:
Stamps: Gorgeous Grunge, Tape It, Hip Notes, Yippee-Skippee, Oh, Goodie!, Happy Day, Sweet Essentials, See Ya Later
Ink: Basic Black, Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry
Last, but certainly not least, is this little box I created just yesterday to package my Mom’s gift for Mother’s Day. I think moms deserve all the bells and whistles so I piled on the sequins, gold ink, two types of ribbon, some handmade flowers (made with the Simply Pressed Clay), and there’s even a doily tucked in there. I find that working with the Simply Pressed Clay is very similar to working with pastillage (a sugar based dough that is used for making decorations for cakes and pastries), so my Pastry Chef skills really came in handy.
Ink: Gold Encore Metallic
Re-inkers (to colour and paint clay): Melon Mambo, Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette, Garden Green, Gumball Green
Embellishments: Simply Pressed Clay, Gold Sequin Trim, Natural Chevron Ribbon, Burlap Ribbon, White Tea Lace Paper Doilies
Other: Sponge Dauber, Decorative Window Gift Boxes, ivy pastry cutter and veiner

Thank you so much ladies for your well wishes. I am very nervous, but I'd never know if I didn't try. 🙂 I'll be waiting on pins and needles to see if I'm chosen! Eek!
