Detailed Dogwood Colouring Tips

I took my time colouring this gorgeous stamp with my Stampin’ Blends in the colours Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow, and Pecan Pie. I love how it turned out! The key to having the lightest of the pinks fade to white on the petals is to use the Color Lifter to feather the colour along the edge. It’ll help soften the line between where the marker ends and the cardstock base colour begins.

Around the sentiment I created a little cluster of imagery from the Detailed Dogwood Stamp Set. I love that there’s not only a large focal image in this stamp set, but also some smaller stamps to really round out a card design. I finished off my card with Petal Pink Foiled Gems. You’ll find these in the new Spring Catalogue.
