The snow finally let up yesterday and I was more than ready to make some fun Spring decor to liven up my living room. I love using my Stampin’ Up! supplies to create stunning pieces for my mantle throughout the year as the seasons and holidays change.
The Burlap and Blooms Wreath Kit I purchased back in January was sitting here untouched, so I ripped that baby open and got to work. After I completed the wreath, which is super cute, I got to work on a flower banner to go with it.
I kept the flowers on my banner the same colour and style as the ones on the wreath so they’d go together effortlessly. Then it was time to put it all together to create a stunning piece for the living room. I grabbed a frame I made from my basement, and voila!
I love how it turned out! It’s bold and beautiful, but uses the soft and subtle colours of Spring I love so much.
White Flowers: Blossom Punch, Pansy Punch, Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set, Smoky Slate Ink, Mini Silver Brads
Blue & Coral Flowers: Soft Sky and Calypso Coral Cardstock, 1 ⅜” Circle Punch, Smoky Slate Cardstock, 1″ Circle Punch, Very Vintage Buttons, Neutrals Buttons
Yellow Flowers: Daffodil Delight Carstock, Spiral Flower Die, Big Shot
I hope wherever you are winter has let up and Spring is on the way! Go ahead, make yourself some Spring home decor and brighten up your living space with some colour!
