Hello friends. It’s been a whirlwind of activity here, with lots of stamping, but not a whole lot that I can share just yet. I’ve been working on new Artisan design team projects, blog hop project commitments, swaps for the conference I’m attending this week, and also make n’ takes for the conference attendees. LOTS of stamping! I did realize today that I had not yet shared this quick and easy card with you, and it uses a stamp set that’s kind of sneaking under the radar. Let’s change that shall we?
The Avant Garden stamp set is so pretty, and you can whip up a beautiful card in almost no time with it. I simply stamped my sentiment and floral stamp using Archival Basic Black Ink, and then used my Blender Pen to add some Crushed Curry and Old Olive ink to colour the image. Add in the water spots (this stamp is also in this set) with Soft Sky Ink, tie some Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine around the whole thing, and mount it on a Soft Sky card base. Easy peasy friends.
