The weight of the wrapping paper is absolutely perfect to be placed inside the embroidery hoop. Not so thin that it’ll rip, and not so thick that it’ll be too bulky…it’s just right. 🙂
Once you have the wrapping paper inside the embroidery hoop it’s easy peasy to add a few of your favourite products from Stampin’ Up! to do some decorating. I used some leftovers from my Many Merry Stars Kit (if you don’t have one, you NEED one!), as well as some Under the Tree Designer Series Paper, a bit of Silver Glimmer Paper, and some fancy gold sequins.
I think it would be fun to make a whole bunch of these embroidery hoop displays and hang them in your front windows, place them on your mantle, or even use them on your Christmas tree.
Speaking of wrapping paper, make sure you scroll to the end of this post to see something I’m doing in the city of Calgary this holiday season to help those who are a little less fortunate to have a lovely Christmas dinner.
Now it’s time to head over to my friend Barbara and see what lovely goodness she’s created to share with us this week.
Join me in helping some less fortunate Calgarians enjoy a lovely Christmas dinner this holiday season. When you purchase your wrapping paper and tags from me I’ll donate $4-$5 (depending on the item purchased) to the Calgary Food Bank! Contact me asap to place your order!
