Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! This week I’ve got a super fun technique to share with you that was inspired by my friend Melody Hyde and her amazing Snuggles & Smooches stamp set. So if you know the set I’m talking about, you know it has some adorable swirly whirly stamps that look like wound up bakers twine. Well, being on the Artisan Design Team means you have to create with the supplies that are in ‘the box’ and Snuggles & Smooches was not in the box. Hmmm. I could have just used some twine, but that seemed too basic, so I got my creative juices moving and came up with something a little more fun.
So what do you think? Fun and easy right?! I’ve already made several more little swirls so I can have them on hand for more projects.
Here’s a close up so you can see the details. The embellishment looks a little yellow in the photo, but it’s not, that’s just the glitter catching the light when I was taking the picture.
The embellishment is the showstopper on this card, but it has lots of fun elements from the You Plus Me stamp set too. And the tiniest little sliver of Stacked with Love DSP.
Now let’s go see what my friend Barbara has to share this week!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow to share a project from my January Stamp Club, so stay tuned!
Only a few days left to register for the January Stamps in the Mail Kit! More details HERE.
