Hi Everyone!
Today I’m showing you a Faux Aligator Purse that I did in a craft class a few weeks ago. If you live in the Calgary area and are interested in attending craft classes, be sure to sign up as a follower (look to the left of this) so you’ll always get the latest updates! I also go to Edmonton about once a month to hold classes and workshops so if you live in Edmonton, there’s always something going on for you too! Sign up today!
To make this purse I used the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper (so cute!!!) as well as the co-ordinating Real Red Cardstock. The faux aligator look is achieved by inking up your entire piece of cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Then cover the entire area with Clear Embossing Powder. Before you heat the embossing powder, use the point of your Bone Folder and make random sized circles all over the place. This will remove the embossing power from the circled area. Then use your Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder. This is a totally fun and easy way to dress up projects and give them that extra something.
I hope you’ve been enjoying the projects so far. Remember to leave comments, you never know when I’ll be giving away things randomly! Please be sure to include your email address in your comment so I know how to reach you if you win!
Happy Stampin’
Allison
