Happy Tuesday! Is your week off to a good start? I hope so. 🙂
When I went to Stampin’ Up! Convention 2012 in Salt Lake City this July I took these adorable fabric covered bandaids with me to swap with other demonstrators. I’m SO thrilled with how they turned out!!!
Tips:
- To make the window in the front of your Petite Pocket Die, use the Apothecary Accents Framelits to cut an opening on the front before you assemble your pocket.
- Glue a piece of Window Sheet to the inside of your pocket behind the opening for the window using Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive (the one in the green and white bottle). This stuff really sticks!
- Use a non-toxic glue to adhere your fabric to your bandaids. Also, apply the glue in a thin layer with a brush.
- Glue multiple bandaids to a strip of fabric and cut them out once dry.
Big Shot: Petite Pocket Die, Apothecary Accents Framelits
Other: Window Sheet, Twitterpated Fabric, Bandaids, Velcro Dot (to keep the pocket closed)
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose, Sticky Strip, non-toxic fabric adhesive
Supplies available from Stampin’ Up!
Now I just need to have a little boo boo to put my pretty bandaids on! hahaha!
Happy Stampin’
