Subway art has been a big trend for some time now. I’ve been loving the pre-designed subway style artwork that Stampin’ Up! has been releasing for My Digital Studio, but I thought this time I’d try hand stamping it. And I’m thinkin’ I did pretty good! AND I even used my most neglected ink pad, Bravo Burgundy!
But the real star of this card is the Bring on the Cake stamp set. I’m constantly turning to this one for all my birthday cardmaking and scrapbooking needs!
Bring On The Cake
#121899 Price: $47.95 (wood mount) #121958
Price: $33.95 (clear mount)
Tips:
Use a Stamp-a-ma-jig! It’s imperative with this style of stamping that absolutely every image is straight.
Play with colour combinations. With this style you can really push the envelope and use colours you wouldn’t normally pair together.
Keep it simple. Don’t cover up all your beautifully stamped images with ‘stuff’.
Stamps: Bring on the Cake
Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Not Quite Navy, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White
