Happy Saturday! Today I’m sharing the last of the projects my SE Calgary Stampin’ Up! Stamp Club ladies did in March. I taught them the Salted Background technique. It’s very easy and looks so beautiful.
To create your own Salted Background:
Wet a piece of watercolour paper using a Stampin’ Mister and Aqua Painter. Using reinkers in the colour of your choice, colour the watercolour paper with your Aqua Painter. Before the paper becomes dry, sprinkle some sea salt on the paper. Allow to dry (you can use a heat tool to speed up this process). Brush off salt and embellish as desired.
