Hi Friends. As promised I’m back with some details on another one of my projects featured in the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Magazine, Stampin’ Success. This time let’s take a look at the cutie pie petite purse.
Do you have the Petite Purse Die for your Big Shot? Well if you don’t, you need to. It’s so darling! For this project I actually sliced the little purse flap off so you could see the beautiful tufts of burlap sticking out the top. And of course no purse is complete without a little bling. Gold embossing powder to the rescue! 🙂
A few tips to recreate this purse:
- stamp the body of the bag BEFORE you put it together, it’s pretty difficult once that baby is 3D
- layer a selection of punches for a stunning focal point, here I’ve used the Modern Label, Artisan Label, and 1 ¼” Circle
- it takes a little time, but cutting out those itty bitty flowers in white and then covering them with Crystal Effects will really make them special
- unravel some of the Burlap Ribbon for a little bag filler
