Welcome friends! I hope your week is off to a stellar start. I had an AMAZING Sunday crafting with some friends and got SO MUCH done! I can’t wait to share with you what I created! Just have to take some pictures for you. 🙂
Today’s project is a 12×12 scrapbook layout I made for the display boards at Stampin’ Up! Convention. We were asked to use the Amazing Birthday stamp set, so it only made sense to scrapbook a page with me holding a cupcake. If you are EVER in San Francisco you must go to Miette. This cupcake is called the ‘Old Fashioned’ and I highly recommend it. So back to the craftiness….I stamped the sentiments from the Amazing Birthday several times on different coloured card stocks and cut them in to bits. By melding a few of the sentiments I created this cute little itty bitty title for my page.
This scrapbook page has a lot of dimension with popped up circles of DSP and card stock, as well as a selection of buttons, flowers, and stars. The fab DSP used for this page is called Confetti Celebration. It’s got some great bold patterns, as well as some toned down ones (like the large grey piece I used for the background).
Make sure you come back tomorrow and check in! I’ll be sharing the bonus project that I sent all of my Stamps in the Mail subscribers this month and you won’t want to miss it! I’ve got a video featuring a cool watercolouring technique you’ll need to try out.
