Hi friends! Today I’m sharing the second make n’ take from the Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean Cruise Incentive Trip. If you missed the first, you can check it out here.
This card has all the beauty of multiple layers, a little collage style stamping, and two simple but impactful embellishments. I really love the off kilter layers – plus there’s literally no way you can mess that up!
Creative Tips:
- Mix it up with a little tone on tone! The base of this card has Dapper Denim Ink stamped on Dapper Denim Cardstock, in addition to Dapper Denim washi tape (from the Moroccan Designer Washi Tape). It’s an incredibly easy way to create a lot of interest on your card base!
- Get creative with your colouring! You don’t always have to reach for your markers, blender pen, or aqua painter to colour in an image. A selection of flowers on this card were ‘coloured in’ using a small splatter image from the same stamp set. Easy peasy!
- Make it messy! Don’t stress about getting every layer perfectly placed. An off kilter layer adds lots of impact!
