Hello my friends and welcome to the official Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! This week we are sharing projects made with any of the items from our July-Sept box of supplies, and I chose the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.
I’m part of a few Facebook groups for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, and the One Sheet Wonder Technique seems to be making a big comeback! I thought I’d combine this technique with my love of watercolouring to create a fun set of notecards. I created this video to show you all the cards I made with ONE piece of Stampin’ Up! Watercolour Paper:

As I mentioned in the video, the one sheet wonder technique is where you take one piece of paper, chop it into various sized pieces, and then use those pieces to create several cards. For my one sheet wonder I used a piece of watercolour paper that I stamped, embossed, and watercoloured with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.
Here’s what your paper should look like after you’ve stamped your images with VersaMark Ink, covered with Clear Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool:
Then you’ll use the ink colours of your choice (I used Emerald Envy, Sweet Sugarplum, and Daffodil Delight) and your Aqua Painter to watercolour the entire piece of paper. It should look something like this:
Then it’s time to chop up that beautifully watercoloured paper! These are the cuts I made to create my 10 notecards. (You can click on the image to enlarge it.)
The rest of the process was super quick and easy as I matted each watercoloured piece on Basic Black Cardstock and stamped the sentiments in Basic Black Archival Ink. To create 10 cards, I used half a package of the Whisper White Note Cards, so I didn’t even have to cut card bases! Bam! Ten cards.

Bringing and oldie back to life and it's beautiful. I haven't done a One Sheet Wonder in YEARS. Maybe 12 years. I think I'm going to challenge myself to do this. What I love is you created something beautiful with a technique I never was in love with. LOL. Awesome job.
