Hello my friends. It’s still so super cold here in Calgary, and I know lots of other parts of Canada are chilly as well. Wherever you are, I hope you’re staying warm and cozy in your craft room.
Today’s card uses the Christmas Pines stamp set and co-ordinating Pretty Pines thinlits dies. I’m giving this bundle away on my VIP Facebook group this month because it’s so incredible.
Creative Tips:
- Layers on top of layers! The Pretty Pines thinlits have so many intricate pieces that can be layered to create stunning focal pieces for your projects. You’ll be amazed at how many beautiful clusters of pinecones and pine boughs you can create.
- Stamp and dies for the win! When you use the stamps and dies that are bundled together (like the bundle I’m using today) your project has creative continuity. The pine bough stamps on the card base are especially fabulous don’t you think?!
- Go for jewel tones. Jewel tones are a hot trend, and of course Stampin’ Up! is up to speed. The addition of Emerald Envy to the collection is perfect for the jewel tone trend. To see all the fabulous Stampin’ Up! colours, go HERE.
Thank you so much for visiting my little piece of the stamping world today. Stay warm my friends.
