Hello friends! I’ve returned home from an absolutely fabulous Stampin’ Up! demonstrator event in Toronto and I’m excited to get back to stamping. Stampin’ Up! events are incredibly fun, and this one was extremely valuable with lots of tools I can use with my team and in my business. Another great part of these events are the displays of projects. Just check out only a small fraction of the displays that were there:
Here’s an up close look at part of the display for the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set:
These demonstrator events are so fabulous, and there’s one coming to CALGARY!
I’m not sure how many spots are still available, but if you’d like to attend, it’s time to take action. First, you’ll want to join the Stampin’ Up! family of demonstrators. You can find all the information about becoming a demonstrator HERE. I’d love for you to purchase the Starter Kit, join my team, and attend the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event with me this April.
Now let’s look at one of the cards I created to swap with my fellow demonstrators this weekend.
The Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set is so stunning, and in addition to dragonflies, it also includes this adorable bee stamp. The Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies also have a die to cut out those little bees. So perfect. You can purchase the stamp set and dies as part of a bundle for 10% off. Love those savings!
Creative Tips:
- Dimension, dimension, dimension! You can create layers of interest and dimension in so many different ways to your project. On this card I’ve used some of the Fine Tip Glue to add a glossy look and raised feel to the bee wings. I also created a frosted window effect by die cutting out several bees and then placing Vellum behind. It’s a subtle but stunning look.
- Don’t forget the little things! A few Pearls add the perfect little embellishment and textural interest.
You’ll find a full list of supplies for this card at the bottom of this blog post.
Purchase the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit and join the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator family.
